1. I forgot my password

Don’t worry. If you lose or forget your password, muv.ac will send you a new one in a snap. Just click on “I forgot my password” and enter your e-mail address. Within a few seconds you will have a new one in your inbox.

2. I did not receive the e-mail with the confirmation link, what can I do?

Still waiting for your e-mail? If you haven’t received your activation e-mail yet, there are a number of things you can do:

•Wait a little longer. Sometimes delivery of e-mail can be delayed by processes outside of our control but it shouldn’t take longer than 5 minutes.

•Check the spam folder of your e-mail inbox. E-mails sometimes end up there.

•Check if the e-mail address was correctly entered.

If you still can’t find it, contact support here (info@muv.ac) and we’ll send you the activation e-mail again. The activation e-mail will be sent to your address.

Please note: E-mail addresses that were not confirmed within 48 hours will be deleted. Of course, you may try to register again

3. How can I enter more than one school or orchestra in my CV?

In the section “CV / Resumé” in your profile you can enter all the places of your studies, the competitions you have participated in and your professional experience. To add a place just click on “Add another university”, “Add another orchestra/ensemble” or “Add another competition”.

Don’t worry about the sorting, muv.ac will automatically show your CV ordered by date.

4. I tried to upload my documents but it’s not working

In the section “Image & Documents” you can upload a photo of yourself and your certificates / diplomas in one of the followings formats: JPEG, PDF, PNG or GIF.

Note that formats like DOC are not accepted.

To upload your photo select the file and the file type (e.g. photo). This ensures that your picture will appear correctly.

To upload a document (certificate, diploma, recommendation letter, etc.) you have to scan the documents first and save them in one of the accepted formats: JPEG, PDF, PNG or GIF. Then select “Degree / Diploma” and select it from the dialogue.

You can upload a maximum of 9 documents plus 1 photo.

Sometimes the upload process takes a little while. In case you get an error message, just try it again.

5. Why don’t you have a section where I can enter master classes or scholarships?

muv.ac was developed to make it easier for the orchestras to directly compare all candidates. The development of the platform was preceded by detailed research among musicians and managers of several professional orchestras, asking them what information they need from the candidates to make a decision.

They all want to see:

Your CV

1. The place of your studies, by whom, kind of studies, duration.

2. Competitions you have successfully participated in or awards you have received during your career / studies.

3. Your professional experience. Enter all orchestras and ensembles you have played in, the type of contract and duration.

Your documents

1. A photo of yourself.

2. Your certificates and diplomas.

Note that the reviewers of the orchestra who decide on the invitations usually have to review a lot of applications. Often the number of applications is between 50 and 150, so it’s understandable that they cannot review every application in great depth.

Therefore, please try to make their work easier by being quick and precise. This will always be of great advantage for you.

6. How do I delete my account?

If you want to delete your account, just write to us and be sure to include your name and date of birth:

Option 1.-  info@muv.ac.  Make sure that you use the same e-mail address with which you have registered at muv.ac.

Option 2.- A letter to the following post address:

“Muv.ac, S.L.”
